**Lemper is compatriots snack made of glutinous rice and usually contains
shredded chicken or
shredded meat, and
wrapped in banana leaves.
Confectionary is famous throughout Indonesia as the booster stage of the stomach before entering the big meal. Making lemper includes preparation mengetim chicken and sticky rice (can be with coconut milk). Furthermore, disuwir meat chicken wrapped in sticky rice and glutinous rice is wrapped again with banana leaves, then steamed.
There are variations of lemper, which use a wrapper instead of banana leaves but crepe (crepe) which is known as semar mendem. Similarly, people familiar with arem-arem that use glutinous rice instead.
